Domestic Abuse is abuse that happens in the home, it can also happen after a relationship is over.
It is one person having power and control over another and when one person hurts someone they have been or are in a relationship with. It can be; physical, sexual, financial and emotional, and can happen to anyone; women and men, gay and straight, of all different origins.
It is NEVER OKAY and it is NEVER THE VICTIM OR CHILD’S FAULT.
